It’s Hip to be Snipped Community Event

Spaying and neutering pets is an important part to keeping pets healthy and preventing unwanted litters. Join us at the Ingham County Animal Control & Shelter (ICACS) on August 17, 2023 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm to learn about the animal overpopulation problem in our community. Representatives from The Give Them Ten Movement, Best Friends Animal Society and ICACS will be on site to talk about what can be done to help the animals in our community.

The event will take place in the Community Room at Ingham County Animal Control & Shelter located at 600 Buhl St. in Mason. Light refreshments will be served. Educational materials and resources will be available to take home as well as press packets for our media partners. The Give Them Ten Movement’s Spokescat Scooter the Neutered Cat will also be on site for photo opportunities!

The Ingham County Animal Control & Shelter recently joined The Give Them Ten Movement which is dedicated to creating a nation of cat-caring communities. This program welcomes like-minded organizations to join The Give Them Ten Movement and equips them with proven strategies and valuable marketing assets to help turn their communities into ones that care
more about cats.
