Vaccine Clinics

 

Ingham County Animal Control & Shelter hosts several vaccination clinics for cats and dogs throughout the year. These vaccination clinics promote the health and well-being of the pets in our community and the safety of our citizens. Vaccine clinics are made possible through grants and donations from our supporters.

Clinics are available to Ingham County residents.

You must sign up for an appointment. Clinics have limited availability and we cannot accommodate walk-ins.

If your dog does not have a current dog license, you must purchase a license at the clinic.

Who is eligible to attend the vaccine clinics?
Due to high demand, currently our vaccine clinics are available to Ingham County residents only.  If the demand subsides, we will offer them to people outside of Ingham County.
When is the next vaccine clinic?
Please see our events page for the dates of our upcoming vaccine clinics.
How do I sign up for the clinic?
Please see our events page.  The event listing will forward you to a signup page, and if there are openings for the clinic you will be able to sign up.  If the clinic is full, please keep an eye on upcoming events as we try to host clinics weekly.
How many animals can I bring to the clinic?
You can bring up to two dogs per appointment to the dog vaccine clinics and up to two cats per appointment to our cat vaccine clinics.
What is provided at the vaccine clinic?
We currently provide either a three-year or one-year rabies vaccine, distemper, lepto, and microchips.  These are currently free of charge. Please note, if your dog is not currently licensed, you will be required to purchase a license at the clinic. 
Where are the vaccine clinics offered?
The clinics are hosted at various locations in Ingham County including the shelter in Mason and the Outreach Center in Lansing.  Our events page shows the date and location for each vaccine clinic.
