Dogs living in unsanitary conditions surrendered to Ingham County Animal Control

On June 14, 2022 Ingham County Animal Control (ICAC) responded to a welfare complaint in the 5900 block of Martinus St. in Haslett which resulted in the surrender of six Presa Canario dogs, one of which was deceased.

While investigating the complaint, officers discovered the dogs who were found to be living in unsanitary conditions. The owner of the property willingly surrendered the dogs and has been cooperating with the investigation. ICAC officers will be requesting criminal charges through the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office.
