If you are looking to adopt a pet, volunteer, or help the animals with a donation, you are in the right place. We have over a hundred animals available for adoption, numerous volunteer opportunities, and many donation ideas. You can also find information on dog licenses, search for a lost pet or find out what our very own Animal Cops are doing to save lives.
Join us for the 4th Annual Doggie Easter Egg Hunt and Kids Eggstravaganza at Hawk Island Park March 31st from 2-4pm!
1:30pm Kids Registration Opens ($8 per child, Under 2 years old free)
2pm Dog Registration Opens ($12/dog, $6/ each additional dog)
2:30pm Kids Egg Hunt
3pm Doggie Egg Hunt
All other activities begin at 2pm including kids crafts and games, photos with the Easter Bunny and Chippy*, paw/hand prints**, face painting, agility equipment, free access to Soldan's Dog Park, and much, much more!!
*Photos will be taken for a $5 donation by a professional photographer.
** Paw/Hand print tiles from Playing Picasso may also be purchased for an addittional donation.
Also, Pizza Pie Hole Food Truck will be joining us before, after, and during the event with lots of delicious pizza available for you to purchase!

On Saturday, April 14th, Ingham County Animal Shelter Fund and Celebration! Cinemas are hosting a family friendly fundraising movie event. Celebration will be playing the limited release "Isle of Dogs" film just for dog lovers of all ages. Partners of Ingham County Animal Control will be bringing certified therapy dogs to walk around the movie theater and visit with movie goers. The film will be aired "sensory screening" style with lights partially up and sound partially down to benefit both human and canine viewers. Your $15 ticket will include entrance into the movie, small soda, small popcorn, a treat cup to visit with the dogs, and a donation to Ingham County Animal Shelter Fund. We hope to see you there!
Join us for our annual Woofer Walk 5k! Run or walk to help fight animal cruelty and to raise money for the homeless animals of Ingham County. You can even bring your dog!!! We’ll have activities, vendors and refreshments for dogs and people
Saturday, May 19th the fun starts st the MSU Auditorium. Registration and activities start at 10am. Walk/run starts at 11am.
